After graduating from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Boisture completed psychiatry residency at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is board certified in both Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (the relationship between psychiatric illnesses and other medical conditions). She has additional training in Women's Mental Health and Adult ADHD.
Dr. Boisture works collaboratively with people who want to get more enjoyment from their lives and relationships. Together, you and Dr. Boisture will examine the patterns keeping you from feeling your best and then develop a strategy for change. Dr. Boisture uses a comprehensive approach, considering underlying medical conditions and utilizing nutrition and behavioral interventions, psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Dr. Boisture stays up to date on the latest research and uses that information to help you. When appropriate, she uses genetic testing to guide medication selection.
Dr. Boisture sees adults ages 18 and over. The vast majority of her patients see Dr. Boisture for psychiatric medication management while seeing another clinician for psychotherapy.
Dr. Boisture does not accept insurance. Cash, checks and credit cards (including FSA and HSA cards) are accepted and payment is due at the time of service. The office will provide a receipt with all of the information you need to submit a claim to your insurance plan for out of network expenses (where applicable).

Dr. Boisture work with attorneys as an expert consultant in a variety of ways. She has experience reviewing medical records relevant to litigation and testifying as a qualified expert witness.
