The primary goal of your first appointment is determining whether you and Dr. Boisture can work together to the benefit of your mental health. Together, you will fully discuss your current symptoms and your complete health history. Dr. Boisture will share her assessment with you and recommend a treatment plan.
During follow up appointments, you and Dr. Boisture will discuss your progress and consider next steps. The recommended frequency and length of these appointments depends upon the severity of your current symptoms and the potential risks of your condition and any recommended treatment. Follow up appointments generally are more frequent and may be longer in the initial phase of treatment.
